NFT Assets in the Game
Land and Unicorn NFTs are the core assets of Crypto Unicorns. In this section, Gamefinity describes their rarity and utility.

Unicorn NFTs

On October 15, 2021, Laguna Games successfully raised $5 million in a Seed Round for their first NFT gaming project, Crypto Unicorns. Over 10,000 NFT eggs were launched in this round.

Unicorns are adorable creatures that can be utilized in both primary farming and secondary battle cycles. Unicorn magic naturally rejuvenates and brings life to the Land.

Players with genesis eggs can hatch their first Unicorn to activate land, allowing them to start farming and gathering resources. Unicorns love juicy fruits and are essential for evolution and useful in livestock breeding.

Unicorn Genes

After hatching, a Unicorn's genes represent its unique genetic identity.

Unicorn genes are divided into three types:

Primary genes: These have the highest chance of being passed down.
Normal genes: These have a lower chance of being passed down than primary genes but a higher chance than minor genes.
Minor genes: These have the lowest chance of being passed down.
There are a total of 9 layers (6 primary layers, 3 hidden layers) including: Heart, Rainbow, Cloud, Flower, Candy, OmNom, Crystal, Moon, and Star.

Breeding Unicorns

Breeding two Unicorns creates a baby Unicorn with higher rarity and value.

Evolution

Unlike breeding, Class Berries are essential for the evolution process. To evolve a Unicorn, players need to consume at least one type of Berry from the same class as the Unicorn, along with Rainbow Tokens and a small amount of Unicorn Milk.

Land NFTs

There are three rarities of Land NFTs: Common, Rare, and Mythic.

Common Land: There are 9 different types. Using a Unicorn of the same class with Land grants players certain advantages in harvesting, collecting, and crafting more efficiently.
Rare Land: There are 3 different types. Rare lands provide support abilities for any Unicorn across all class groups, giving players more options to optimize their farming activities.
Mythic Land: There is only 1 type. This type of land is the rarest and most valuable, providing buffs to any Unicorn.
Neighborhood Exploration

In Q2 2022, the game will introduce a highly anticipated feature called neighborhood exploration. This feature allows players to explore nearby land parcels. It enhances social interaction, adding more fun and engagement for players.

Gameplay of Crypto Unicorns
The core gameplay of Crypto Unicorns revolves around farm simulation. Players purchase Land as NFTs and NFT Unicorns (eggs, newborns, or adults), freely customize and use the land as they see fit.

Farming

Within the Unicorn universe, there's a customizable plot of land with a maximum of 8 farm slots used for harvesting juicy fruits and crafting other essential materials.

Unicorns love eating juicy fruits, and your mission in the game is to collect materials or invest in upgrading and building infrastructure to enhance farm productivity.

Each farm has 4 main features:

Farm Slots: Where players can grow various Class Berries, food for Unicorns.
Workshop: Uses materials and raw resources to craft advanced materials.
Nursery: Where Unicorns breed/develop, and new Unicorns are born.
Stable: Here lie all your Unicorn NFTs. You can organize parties here in the future, etc., when multiplayer versions of the game are released. Upgrading the stable increases Unicorn energy recovery.
There are three types of farms:

Basic Farms: Produce common Berries and have a chance to produce a specific Class Berry.
Rare Farms: Produce common Berries and have a chance to produce a Class Berry within a specific Tier group.
Mythic Farms: Produce common Berries and have a chance to produce one of the Class Berries.
Jousting

The Jousting event is a tournament with 16 or 32 players competing in a Battle Royale style. In the future, the game will expand these matches to 64, 128, 256, etc., to accommodate more players.

Winner: Receives the most materials and Unicorn milk.
Semifinals: Receives fewer materials and Unicorn milk.
Quarterfinals: Receives some Unicorn milk and other materials.
Not Qualified: Receives very few materials.
Racing

There will be many types of racetracks in the game, each with unique attributes such as type, distance, weather, length, etc., designed to create excitement for players.

Initially, each racetrack will feature 8 Unicorns competing. In the future, larger racetracks will accommodate more players.

The higher the rank of your Unicorn, the more Unicorn milk you earn.

Battle

The team is planning to release grand cooperative RPG battles with both PvE and PvP elements in Crypto Unicorns. This type of game is still in development and is scheduled to be released in Q4 2022.

In Crypto Unicorns, money-making activities include:

Harvesting and selling various fruit types on the market.

The ultimate goal of RBW is to decentralize ownership and governance rights over Crypto Unicorns.
