DeathRoad (DRACE): Metaverse's Next-Gen Racing Phenomenon

Introduction to DeathRoad (DRACE)

Gamefinity explores the exciting realm of GameFi with DeathRoad, an innovative racing game within the Metaverse.

What is DeathRoad?

DeathRoad (DRACE) marks the debut of the first Metaverse racing game on BSC. It's designed to create a comprehensive gaming ecosystem tailored for next-generation racers. Players utilize racing skills to experience real racing dynamics and earn valuable digital assets that can be traded.

The game will roll out its community test and official version in November 2021.

Key Highlights of DeathRoad

DeathRoad is a virtual Metaverse city where DeathRoad racers can buy, sell, and lease cars or land. Players engage in battle modes to earn rewards.

What sets DeathRoad apart from traditional racing games is its dedicated world for racers, featuring:

  • City Hall: A voting hub where players influence game upgrades based on the cars they own.
  • Showroom: Where racers purchase mystery NFT boxes for new cars/weapons.
  • Marketplace: Allows trading of used cars/weapons between players.
  • Race Track: Where players compete and seek rewards in both PVE and PVP modes.
  • Real Estate and Garage: Racers owning five or more cars can buy land to build their exhibition garages. They can then rent out cars for profit.

Racers can visit the City Hall to vote for game upgrades or the Showroom to purchase NFT boxes to obtain cars. They can also visit the Peer-To-Peer Marketplace to buy or sell used cars to other players.

How to Start Playing DeathRoad

There are three steps to begin playing DeathRoad:

  1. Step 1: Acquire cars and weapons through various methods like purchasing from Marketplaces or opening NFT Boxes.Alternatively, players can earn through DRACE token payments, complete races, and receive equipped weapon rewards.
  2. Step 2: Race to Earn - Once your car is fully equipped, choose from various race tracks with different difficulty levels.Players can also battle bosses; winning yields more DRACE.
  3. Step 3: Optimize rewards by upgrading cars and weapons to participate in higher-level maps and earn more rewards.

Players can also combine existing cars to upgrade to new cars and earn additional rewards.

Earning Activities with DeathRoad

Race to Earn

The most popular spot in DeathRoad is undoubtedly the "Battle Mode" race track. Here, players experience the standout feature of the "Race to Earn" project.

There are two player modes available:

  • PvE: Players race against AI, aiming for the highest scores to earn corresponding rewards.
  • PvP: Racers challenge each other. The winner receives rewards paid by the loser.

NFT Assets in DeathRoad

Cars

Cars have different levels: 1 (weakest) - 5 (strongest).
Each car has a unique ID.
Higher-level cars are stronger in attack and can withstand more enemy attacks.
Each car has fuel, and racers need to collect rewards during races. Rewards vary across different maps.
Cars undergo three stages of damage: normal - damaged - destroyed.

Guns

Racers need at least one car and one gun to race.
Guns are used to shoot bots/enemies and bosses during races.
A racer can own multiple cars and guns but can only select one car equipped with one gun for racing.
Gun ammunition is pre-equipped and does not need to be purchased.

Rocket

Rockets allow users to destroy bots/enemies and bosses more easily due to their higher attack power compared to guns.
Users need to purchase rockets if they want to use them.
To use rockets, racers must carry rockets and pick up rocket ammunition during races. There is a maximum of 3 rocket ammunition per map.
Map: Choose a map, each map is identified by an ID.

Maps have different difficulty levels: 1 (easiest) -> 5 (hardest).
Cars at level X can only race on maps with difficulty <= X.
The harder the map, the more rewards players earn.

Car Upgrades and Protection Card Use

Upgrading Cars

This feature allows any user to upgrade cars to more powerful ones to earn more rewards.

Currently, upgrades only apply to cars as follows:

  • Use 3-star cars to upgrade to 2-star cars.
  • Use 3-star cars to upgrade to 3-star cars.

Upgrading car fees are as follows:

Using Protection Cards

Users need to buy 3 1-star cars on the game's app and use Protection Cards when upgrading.

Owning Real Estate

Profitable real estate transactions are also a unique highlight of the project.

When participating in the game, racers can use $DRACE Tokens from Race to Earn to buy real estate:

  • Garage: Racers need at least 5 cars to buy a piece of land to create a garage in the city.
  • Car Rental: Racers with garages can offer car rental services where other racers can rent cars to play.
  • Car Hire: Racers without garages can only rent cars from garage owners. Racers can use their own cars or rent cars from any homeowner to challenge each other in battle mode, where racers agree to select a map to race.
