Game NFT Heroes of Mavia Launches on Base Layer-2

Heroes of Mavia, a mobile game on Ethereum, has been making waves in the blockchain gaming space. The game studio not only successfully launched their $MAVIA token through an airdrop campaign but is now aiming to implement significant enhancements to the game, touching on both technological aspects and community involvement.

The game has achieved over 1 million downloads on iOS and Android platforms since its launch on January 31st. This milestone underscores the game's commitment to making blockchain gaming a popular trend.

Supported by prominent names like Crypto.com and Binance Labs, Skrice Studios' Heroes of Mavia stands out by seamlessly integrating building, strategic battles, and blockchain-based transactions, drawing inspiration from the popular combat game Clash of Clans.

Building on layer-2 to reduce transaction fees
Heroes of Mavia has chosen Base, the layer-2 developed by Coinbase, as its preferred blockchain. This strategic move aims to leverage Base's advantages, such as low gas fees and seamless integration. It also opens up the possibility for Mavia to reach a broader user base through Coinbase's extensive user network, potentially introducing less familiar players to the web3 gaming landscape.

With an impressive figure of over 50,000

wallets benefiting from the Heroes of Mavia airdrop, the game's popularity continues to soar, boasting over 300,000 daily active players across iOS and Android devices. While specifics were not disclosed, the transition to Base promises exciting opportunities for Mavia players and the larger gaming community.

Mavia DAO Launch
In addition to this momentum, Heroes of Mavia has officially launched the Mavia DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) for players. This initiative empowers $MAVIA token holders to actively shape the game's future by submitting proposals and voting.

Any owner holding a minimum of 1 $MAVIA token can submit proposals via the Mavia Discord server. These proposals undergo a rigorous process, including adherence to DAO principles, a seven-day open discussion among DAO members, and oversight by Mavia's development, marketing, and legal teams.

Once cleared, proposals become official MIPs (Mavia Improvement Proposals) and enter a 14-day voting phase. The community's first MIP#100 proposal is currently under vote, utilizing gasless wallet signatures for seamless voting experiences.

Proposals cover various aspects, from modifying game features and allocating funds to suggesting changes in procedures and initiating partnerships or IP-related initiatives within DAO or Mavia.
