Gamer Can Livestream on X with Streamlabs Feature

A new feature on X, aptly named Streamlabs, was unveiled on December 7, 2023, allowing users to livestream directly on Twitter from their phones or computers.

In recent months, Elon Musk, the owner of the X platform, has been livestreaming games through Twitter's new media studio feature, which was rolled out for paying X users in October.

Now, users simply need to link their X accounts to start livestreaming using the Streamlabs feature.

Ashray Urs, Head of Product at Streamlabs, emphasized, "Android phone users can utilize their front cameras for livestreaming, while iOS (iPhone) users will need to purchase additional compatible devices. The computer version of Twitter Streamlabs integrates chat message monitoring within the app and enables additional customizable utilities."

The latest integration of Streamlabs with Twitter promises to make the X platform more user-friendly and popular, potentially positioning it alongside leading social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch in the future.
