The Merit Circle platform is focused on revolutionizing the gaming industry by empowering users to manage and voice their opinions.
Merit Circle has supported numerous Web3 games across various blockchains, including Vulcan Verse, Axie Infinity, Sidus Heroes, WonderHero, and Heroes of Mavia.
The $MC token serves as the project's governance token, providing holders with privileges and benefits such as decision-making power within the DAO, early access to games, and pre-purchase options for NFTs.
DAO Merit Circle on Beam
Beam is a Layer 2 blockchain built on the Avalanche ecosystem in April 2023 and launched in September 2023.
This transition marks a significant milestone for the platform, as the $MC governance token migrates from Ethereum's blockchain to Beam, facilitating gas fee payments for projects on the Beam network.
To date, a total of 4 out of 16 NFT game titles within the Beam ecosystem have been launched, including:
- Age of Battles: Real-time strategy game
- Domi: MMORPG
- Goons of Balatroon: Trading card game
- Rumble Arcade: Fighting game
Other titles such as Castle of Blackwater, The Lords of Light, and Amino Move are part of the larger Edenhorde project currently under development.
Recently, Merit Circle initiated a hackathon competition with total prizes amounting to $100,000 USD, aimed at encouraging game developers to build games within the Beam ecosystem.
