Horizon & Ubisoft Launch Sequence Builder

Ubisoft has partnered with Horizon to launch the Sequence platform, aimed at providing an ecosystem for users to trade and own NFTs.

Sequence Builder allows game developers to integrate existing NFT collections into their games. It also facilitates functionalities such as connecting cryptocurrency wallets (e.g., MetaMask, Polygon), pre-paying gas fees, and launching NFT marketplaces.

Sam Barberie, Horizon's Strategic Director, stated, "The adoption of Web3 to users has been hindered by current technology limitations, leading to suboptimal experiences for players. Sequence Builder is designed to simplify the user experience from initial account creation to transaction."

Sequence Builder enables developers to utilize popular tools like Unreal Engine and Unity (3D game development tools) to incorporate blockchain components into games seamlessly without leaving the application.

Horizon CEO Peter Kieltyka added, "We aim to provide users with a seamless gaming experience without the need to resort to third parties like Blur or OpenSea to purchase NFTs, allowing direct purchases within the game."

Additionally, he shared, "Sequence Builder will support developers in connecting with over 11 different blockchains, including Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Polygon zkEVM, Base, Oasys, Arbitrum One, Nova, Avalanche, and others."

Kieltyka also expressed his admiration for the Solana ecosystem, hinting at future integration into their platform.

In conclusion, Horizon and Ubisoft's launch of Sequence Builder marks a significant step towards enhancing accessibility and functionality within the NFT gaming space, promising a more integrated and user-friendly experience for developers and players alike.
