Gunzilla Games Unveils Plans for Off the Grid

Gunzilla Games, known for popular shooter games like "Chappie" and "District 9" with Neill Blomkamp as creative director and Vlad Korolev as CEO, is a game studio comprising approximately 260 experienced professionals in the cryptocurrency field.

In a recent interview, Vlad Korolev shared the latest plans for Off the Grid, emphasizing extensive integration of blockchain technology into the game.

Off the Grid is a multiplayer NFT shooter game developed on Avalanche's ecosystem, a decentralized platform designed for decentralized applications (dApps), financial assets, and enterprise blockchain deployments.

Gunzilla Games has announced the launch of GUNZ, a subnet on Avalanche dedicated to Off the Grid, with the Gunz wallet app functioning exclusively within the game's ecosystem, allowing transactions within the Gunz framework.

The studio has also released an iOS and Android game called Technocore, where players can discover usable items for Off the Grid. Items obtained in Technocore can be traded and sold for money once the game officially launches.

Off the Grid will be available for PC gamers on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.

The vision for Off the Grid is ambitious, featuring a campaign lasting up to 60 hours and a 150-player battle royale experience with over 300 types of guns and 30 different cyberlimbs (support effects).

Major battles in Off the Grid will take place on Teardrop Island, offering PvP (player vs. player) and PvE (player vs. environment) scenarios. Additionally, there will be 13 smaller maps such as nuclear reactors, factories, and industrial buildings, providing diverse gameplay experiences.

To keep players engaged, the game includes numerous NPCs and extensive missions across Teardrop Island during the 150-player survival matches.

This marks Gunzilla Games' bold step into the NFT gaming sector on Avalanche, promising immersive gameplay experiences and innovative use of blockchain technology in Off the Grid.
