Since its launch, DeFi Kingdoms has risen to the top spot in Harmony Blockchain's decentralized applications (dapps) list, surpassing renowned projects like EnterDao and BakerySwap.

While battles and missions are planned for future releases, the current features of the game focus on its role as a DEX, liquidity provider, and staking platform for its native token - $JEWEL.

Features of DeFi Kingdoms
Decentralized Exchange (DEX)

DeFi Kingdoms features a decentralized exchange (DEX) using the UniswapV2 protocol. All players within the kingdom can have engaging and exciting investment experiences.

The project's dev team is currently committing a substantial amount of ONE tokens valued at approximately $15K to provide liquidity for the ONE/JEWEL pair.

At the Market, you can swap tokens at the current exchange rate. Additionally, you can become a liquidity provider by supplying liquidity to any token pool of your choice.

This allows you to earn fees when anyone trades those tokens. These LP tokens can also be staked in the Garden to earn $JEWEL rewards.

Bank
Another unique feature of the game is the Bank, where you can stake $JEWEL tokens to receive xJEWEL.

The Bank collects fees from the DEX and regularly performs market trades to acquire more $JEWEL tokens. As the ratio between JEWEL and xJEWEL only increases, when you withdraw from the Bank, you will always receive more JEWEL than the amount you initially deposited!

Furthermore, each $JEWEL transaction in the game sends a percentage to the Bank to reward xJEWEL holders.

Gardens

Gardens are where you stake LP tokens and earn back $JEWEL tokens. As mentioned, $JEWEL is used to purchase rare NFTs and other items simply by staking LP tokens.

In each garden, trees represent the amount of $JEWEL held by players. Farmers will be busy caring for crops, and after harvesting, they will deposit their yield into your warehouse representing the $JEWEL of the mined block.

A portion of the JEWEL planted in the Garden can be harvested immediately (unlocked and available for use), while the remainder is distributed deep underground (locked).

Staking LP in the Garden incurs no deposit fee. However, to protect users from flash loans and market crashes, there is a withdrawal fee for withdrawing staked LP tokens. The withdrawal fee is as follows:

0.01% fee if withdrawn after 4 epochs
0.25% fee if withdrawn within 2 - 4 epochs
0.5% fee if withdrawn within 5 days - 2 epochs
1% fee if withdrawn within less than 5 days
2% fee if withdrawn within less than 3 days
4% fee if withdrawn within less than 24 hours
8% fee if withdrawn within less than 1 hour
25% slashing fee if withdrawn in the same block
Heroes
The exciting part of this project is the NFT Heroes. You can trade these NFTs using $JEWEL. Heroes come with different attributes, classifications, professions, and rarity.

These Heroes are required to participate in two main types of missions - adventure and profession. You can not only trade rare Heroes on the market but also summon them by combining genes from existing Heroes. This random summoning sometimes brings unexpected rare Heroes.

Players enter a place called the Tavern to trade or upgrade Heroes and then sell them at a higher price to profit.

Heroes in DeFi Kingdoms have different stats that determine their effectiveness in performing various tasks. These stats can be increased as Heroes gain XP and level up.

Heroes can sometimes find and capture rare pets to accompany them on adventures. These pets can provide stat bonuses, passive abilities, and more.

To add to the excitement, Heroes can even form teams and compete in PvP tournaments to earn $JEWEL tokens.

Kingdoms
Many plots of land in DeFi Kingdoms will be available in limited quantities for players to own.

You will not only get a piece of land for yourself but also expand your kingdom by investing in improvements that provide you with a stable supply of resources!

Your kingdom will be built on your territory and displayed to everyone on the world map.

However, not all land parcels are of equal value. Based on geographical location and natural conditions, some plots will be more valuable than others.

Players can sell their land parcels to profit from rising land prices if they wish.

Owning this land also allows you to earn resources daily, with opportunities to find rare materials or even equipment for your Heroes.

On these land parcels, buildings are the next exciting part, as they can help you earn money and improve stats to help your Heroes perform tasks better.

Roadmap
The DeFi Kingdoms project started in August 2021 and is divided into 6 development stages:

Phase 2.0

Launch of NFT Heroes
Introduction of 2 types of missions: Gardening (yield farming to earn JEWEL) & Dungeon Raiding (PVE combat)
50 Generation 0 Heroes will be awarded to randomly chosen winners from those holding at least 5,000 xJEWEL in their bank balance before September 15, 2021
Phase 3.0

Land auction
Expansion of the world map
25 Kingdom slots will be awarded to randomly chosen winners from those holding at least 5,000 xJEWEL tokens in their bank balance before October 15, 2021

100 Mythic Talisman scrolls will be awarded to lucky winners holding at least 5,000 xJEWEL in their bank balance before December 15, 2021
Phase 6.0

Heroes can form teams of 3 and compete in PvP tournaments to earn JEWEL

Token Utility

JEWEL is used to purchase the most useful items and unique NFTs such as Heroes and Kingdoms in the game, as well as various other in-game enhancements like speeding up building times and enhancing stamina.
