StepHero Gameplay: First Impressions
StepHero is an NFT RPG (Role-Playing Game) on the Binance Smart Chain and Polygon ecosystems. Recently, they launched a Pre-Alpha Test version, and below are my experiences with this game.
Key Features
Upon entering the game, the interface is quite simple, consisting of three main sections:
- Arena
- Heroes
- Adventure
Since this is the Pre-Alpha Test version, some functions are still locked.
The sole feature available in this version that the StepHero team allowed me to experience is battling with monsters.
Before engaging in battles, you select Heroes and assemble a team of up to 5 members.
There are 16 Heroes available for selection:
- Rarity of Heroes: Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, Mythical.
- Attributes of Heroes: Fire, Water, Earth, Light, Dark.
You arrange these Heroes into a complete team to combat opponents.
Strategically, it's important to position tank-type Heroes in the front line to absorb damage, while placing damage-dealers at the back for maximum impact.
Beautiful Graphics and Game Effects
In the game, each Hero has 4 skills, each with unique visual effects and graphics.
Character movements in the game are simple and akin to many mobile games today.
High Tactical Gameplay
Considering the variety of Heroes and different factors (attributes, rarity), StepHero offers diverse gameplay options for gamers.
You can view the strength of each Hero in the upper right corner of their character profile.
Conclusion
These are my impressions and experiences from the Pre-Alpha test version of StepHero. The game is still quite new and lacks some features, but at first glance, it is well-developed with beautiful graphics and offers many enjoyable gameplay mechanics.
