Superwalk Achieves Over $20 Million Profit in a Year and Six Months

Superwalk, a web3 healthcare platform operated by Proground, announced on the 27th that the total accumulated transactions of NFT shoes had exceeded $20 million (approximately 26 billion Korean won) in just a year and a half of service.

Early Success of SuperWalk
Superwalk, officially launched in July 2022, surpassed the 5 billion won mark in accumulated NFT shoe transactions by the 8th month, followed by 10 billion won in the first half of 2023 and 23 billion won in the latter half of 2023, reaching 26 billion won in February of this year.

Notably, in the third quarter of last year, the number of NFT shoe transactions reached an all-time high of 7.2 billion won, a 160% increase from the previous year, and based on this, the company succeeded in generating a surplus for the first quarter.

Operation Mechanism of SuperWalk
SuperWalk is a service that combines blockchain technology and M2E to help users form healthy exercise habits. The app includes a 'Pro' mode where users are rewarded with crypto for purchasing NFT shoes and exercising. The app also features a 'Basic' mode that provides points based on the number of steps taken.

With user-friendly service operations such as intuitive user interfaces (UX/UI), easy navigation, and detailed instructions, Superwalk has minimized barriers to accessing blockchain and Web 3.0. Operating not only in Korea but also in global markets such as Japan, Vietnam, France, and Turkey, Superwork has reached a total of 270,000 users. Currently, the monthly reuse rate of users in Pro mode is approaching 90%.

Development Plans of SuperWalk
Superwalk's plan for this year is to enhance the competitiveness of its services, expand social functions that can be enjoyed with friends both online and offline, such as running competitions and group systems, upgrade 'Superz,' and include pet training content within the app.

Superwork is expanding its ecosystem beyond Klaytn, Korea's representative blockchain platform, to Binance Chain (BNB), widely recognized globally. Based on its development, in November of the previous year, SuperWalk was selected as the top global project of 2023 by CoinGecko.

Kim Taewan, CEO of Superwork, said:

"Diversifying business models such as in-app sales and advertising played a crucial role in Superwalk's development even during the NFT market downtrend last year."

He added, "We will focus on attracting new users and building the blockchain ecosystem through continuous service development. We will bring a global-scale Web3 application," he said.
