Seed is Klang's pet project, an NFT game simulating the future of humanity, offering a virtual world where players can explore, build, and earn in-game currency.

Klang successfully raises $41M
In early July 2022, Klang announced a successful $41M funding round to develop the Seed project. Former Electronic Arts veteran Isabelle Henriques joined as co-CEO and COO.
Leading this funding round were Animoca Brands and Kingsway Capital, with participation from Anthos, Novator, Supercell, Roosh Ventures, AngelHub, and New Life Ventures. Klang Games has now raised nearly $80M to date.

Henriques, who also serves as COO, joined the board in February 2022, bringing 14 years of experience in management, operations, strategy, and production. She has previously directed studios and major productions at EA, working on renowned franchises such as The Sims, Call of Duty, and Madden NFL.

Details about the Seed Game Project
Seed is an online spatial game utilizing Improbable's SpatialOS platform, providing the infrastructure for small development teams to create expansive simulations.
Set in a futuristic world but grounded in reality, Seed is envisioned as a persistent, immersive simulation where players colonize an alien planet through collaboration, conflict, and player-to-player interaction.
Featuring a unique gameplay approach with real-time management of multiple characters, who continue living even after players log out, Seed aims to create a vibrant virtual entity.
Set against the backdrop of the new world of Avesta, Seed offers players a platform to explore, participate in player-driven economies, self-manage, and contribute to their communities. Players experience this through AI-controlled virtual humans known as Seedlings.
Seedlings are customizable, allowing players to showcase creativity and build on their nurturing skills. Currently in pre-alpha stage, Seed focuses on creating an online space where people can connect, collaborate, and build a strong community.
While Klang Games has been working on prototypes for some time, they now transition to this new phase of development based on simulations. Seed aims to address numerous challenges in online gaming by bringing together a large number of people in one place, similar to companies' ambitions for the metaverse, interconnected virtual worlds as depicted in novels like Snow Crash and Ready Player One.
