Splinterlands claimed the second spot in the quarter with 159,522 daily active wallets, a 47% decrease from Q2. Despite this, the in-game economy saw some changes.
On September 16, they announced their latest NFT project - Runi, offering users the chance to buy and play with uniquely designed NFTs in gaming history.
On September 22, 2022, the project whitelisted and allowed a maximum purchase of 3 Runi NFTs per wallet. By late October, Runi NFTs could be directly purchased on OpenSea using ETH.
Era7: Game of Truth
Era7: Game of Truth also saw a significant growth (199%) in activity during Q3, reaching 23,625 players.
Element, an NFT marketplace, partnered with Era7 on September 23 to support the "Era7 WCT" event.
According to the current plan, Era7 WCT will occur 6-8 times per year, bi-monthly. Prize pools will be determined in the token launch schedule, with rewards in BUSD. The total predicted prize pool for 2023 is $5 million.

Following the decision to develop on BNB Chain, Gameta launched its alpha testing campaign on August 23. The platform currently features 7 games: Invest Master, Ants Runner, Super Gloves, Sleep Ragdoll, FrogPrince Rush, Human Tower, and Tadpole Count.
The daily active wallets for this game increased by 109% in September, reaching 69,000, and surged by 253% compared to the previous quarter, making it the most-used decentralized app in September, surpassing even PancakeSwap.

User activity for Benji Bananas in September surged by 2,468%.
Initially released as a mobile game in 2013, Benji Bananas is a simple yet engaging rope-swinging game that anyone can download and play for fun.
In March 2022, the game's developer, Animoca Brands, announced the addition of play-to-earn (P2E) mechanics in the form of Ape Coin (APE), linked to the Bored Ape Yacht Club ecosystem.
Built on the Ethereum blockchain and Polygon Layer-2 sidechain, Benji Bananas witnessed its most significant growth in September with a 2,468% increase (29,000 daily active wallets).
This growth was attributed to organizing P2E tournaments, rewarding winners with valuable in-game NFTs.
Overall, Polygon has become a significant reference in the Web3 Gaming space. In September, the Ethereum sidechain performed exceptionally well with a 61% increase in daily active wallets, with 7.43% attributed to NFT games.

In Q3, Axie Infinity's daily active wallets decreased by 86% compared to Q2. Despite this decline, the quarter was still effective for the project.
The development team hosted AxieCon in Barcelona, Spain, introducing new products and features including in-game economies, decentralization, and community empowerment.
Announcements included accessories for Axies (characters within Axie Infinity), the first small game for NFT landowners, and additional features for the upcoming Land alpha game.
